| A preliminary mapping of the territory to be intervened was established characterizing the level of social and political conflict in the face of mining activity in the area. Also, as a function of the social situation of the communities settled in the watersheds to be sampled, key social partners were identified. The description of the work to be carried out in the rivers and raves was explained to these key partners, and they were asked for their collaboration and alliance. |
| The solution was to hire local people to help with labor and logistics in each intervened area under the leadership of these key partners. The first phase of the project has been completed; the project is expected to continue when there are adequate conditions again. |
